Employers in the Czech Republic must test their employees at least once a week. Only employees who have tested negative for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus are may enter the workplace. Offer a scenario like this in your projects too.
2N® Access Commander software allows administrators but also, for example, receptionists, to set the access credentials validity for specific users. This can be done according to every user’s current situation. These rules take precedence over regular access rules which allow employees access to various zones in the building. It doesn’t matter whether the user gains access using an RFID card, PIN code, fingerprint or their mobile phone.
How does this work in real life? Employees who plan to come to the workplace must regularly provide the receptionist with information about the results of their tests. If an employee tests negative, the receptionist can then prolong the user’s access credentials by up to a week at a time. The undeniable advantage of this is that settings can be performed in bulk for all employees who have tested negative, for example, at the end of every working day. Work in the user interface of 2N® Access Commander is intuitive, so this activity only takes a few minutes.
As soon as all the measures have been lifted, this restriction of access rights can be cancelled. Employees will again be able to move about the workplace according to the originally set validity of their access rights.
