Discover two new features of the 2N® Indoor View indoor station

Every update to the 2N OS brings something newer, brighter, and better for the people that use it. Version 2.35 includes videomail and pinch-to-zoom during calls – giving residents increased peace of mind at home. Read on to find out more.

Voicemail – but not as you know it

‘Leave a video message after the tone…’ Sounds good, right? Soon, it will be the standard for every intercom – and because at 2N we’re always one step ahead, we’ve enriched the new 2.35 version of the 2N OS with videomail on the 2N® Indoor View indoor station. telephone with intercom

When the resident isn’t home, the intercom at their front entrance will play either a custom message recorded by them or a default message in-built. The visitor can then leave a video message which the resident will be notified of via their 2N® Indoor View indoor station and can play with a single click.

A quick tip: You can find the video message feature on the 2N® Indoor Touch 2.0 Indoor Station too.

Pinch-to-zoom during calls

We all know a big thing on residents’ minds is security and knowing exactly who’s trying to gain access to their homes. 2N OS 2.35 takes this into account by allowing them to zoom in during intercom calls – so they can more clearly see the caller's face, the delivery person's name tag, or someone’s ID, should they need it. How? Simply pinch two fingers, just like they would on their phone.

Bonus upgrade!

The 2N OS 2.35 brings one more improvement to the 2N® Indoor View, 2N® Indoor Compact and 2N® Indoor Talk units: automatic activation of the "Do Not Disturb" mode. The administrator can set a time slot for the resident in which they will not be disturbed (typically the night hours, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.).
