KNX connectivity with 2N IP Intercoms

The steps in this article require using the web interface of a 2N device. Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.

Our 2N IP Intercoms can cooperate with KNX, an open standard for commercial and residential building automation.
We will show you how to setup these scenarios:

  • Signalization of pressed button on the 2N IP Intercom into the KNX system.

  • Activation of the door lock connected into the 2N IP Intercom via the KNX system.

Prerequisites

  • 2N IP Intercom with the latest firmware and connected door lock.
GOLD license is required to use automation interface.

The device must be equipped with at least one free input and output
    .
Most of our devices have at least one input on the main unit, here is an exception:

    • 2N IP Force & 2N IP Safety & 2N IP Vario
      requiring additional module

    • 2N IP Uni
does not have input at all

  • KNX System using KNX actor with at least one free input and output.
