2N LiftGate: meeting IEC 62443 standard and expanding to Verizon!
We are excited to announce that 2N LiftGate now also supports Verizon mobile carrier, in addition to AT&T and T-Mobile in the USA, and is fully compliant with the requirements defined in IEC 62443-4-1 and 62443-4-2.
As we introduce this update, it's also a good time to remind you of the key benefits that make 2N LiftGate a standout product in the market:
- Comprehensive IoT Solution: Say goodbye to the need for multiple devices such as LTE routers, switches, converters, and backup power supplies. The 2N LiftGate integrates all these functions into a single, certified device, saving you both time and money.
- Reliable IP Connectivity Over 2-Wire: By installing the 2N LiftGate in the elevator machine room and the 2N LiftGate Cabin Switch on the cabin roof, you can establish a reliable IP connection with 100 Mbps bandwidth using just two wires in the traveling cable.
- Versatile Communication Options: With just one SIM card, you can manage VoIP calls and data communication with the gateway, controller, or access control system. Additionally, a WAN port or a second SIM can be used as a backup option.
- Remote Management via Cloud and SMS: By connecting the IoT gateway to the 2N Elevator Center cloud platform, you can manage and monitor it remotely. Additionally, you can control the gateway and receive notifications via SMS.
- IEC 62443-4-1 & 62443-4-2 Compliant: The 2N LiftGate complies with the IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards, ensuring that the communication and control components of elevators are designed and developed to minimize risks associated with unauthorized access and cyber-attacks.
Serves two cabins and up to 4 devices in each
One 2N LiftGate Central Unit serves up to two cabins and allows you to connect a maximum of four IP devices in each, including IP communicators, cameras, advertisement displays, and readers, to the 2N LiftGate Cabin Switch. It also features a backup 12V output for emergency lighting. Currently, the recommended elevator emergency phone is the 2N LiftIP 2.0 available in three different variants (surface, flush, COP) supporting communication via VoIP.
In Q4 2024, we are excited to launch a new IP-based elevator emergency phone, 2N Sentrio, which will perfectly work with the 2N LiftGate enhancing the capabilities of our elevator communication solutions. This new communicator will:
- feature audio, video, and chat communication making it accessible for hearing-impaired individuals
- offer the possibility of remote management via the 2N Elevator Center cloud ensuring easy maintenance and regular updates
