Let residents manage mobile access
The latest update to the My2N Management Platform reduces the workload for property managers and gives residents more autonomy. How does it work?

What's new in the My2N Management Platform? Residents with the apartment admin role can enable or disable mobile access for other users within the apartment. So, if a new partner moves in or a child is old enough to have their own mobile phone, the apartment admin can set up mobile access for them.
Admin tip: To enable users to open doors via mobile access, a site admin must activate mobile access at the site level (Site settings -> Access -> Manage My2N app access).
What else can apartment admins do?
Apartment admins have a variety of capabilities, mainly within the My2N Management Platform. Here’s what they can do:
- Add, remove, and rename users within apartments.
- Assign, revoke, and reassign PIN codes to users.
- Activate cloud calling from the apartment’s intercom to users’ mobile phones (note: the site admin must assign the apartment a cloud-calling license).
- Manage RFID card credentials within the system. While apartment admins typically won't have a reader to assign new RFID cards, they can view and delete RFID card numbers in case of loss or theft.
- Add, manage, and remove visitors and their access credentials (PIN, QR code). This feature is also available in the My2N App.
Admin tip: How do you create an apartment admin? A site admin can assign the apartment admin role to any user within the apartment in the user’s details.
When can you expect it in the My2N App?
We’re working hard on it, and you can expect this feature, along with other apartment admin-related features, in the My2N App this summer. This is another step towards providing residents more convenience in their residential living solution.
