1991

2N was established in Prague by three friends with a passion for technology and invention. Just one year later, they launched the first ATEUS 280 telephone exchange, and within a few years, the company grew to become a leader in telecommunication solutions.

2005

The invention of the 2N Netstar IP Telephone Exchange, a communication system that delivered solutions to leading mobile and landline operators globally and marked a shift in our focus towards IP technology and the online environment.

2008

We invented the first IP intercom. It spearheaded our focus on access control and revolutionised door communication and the landscape of access technology forever. The 2N Helios IP Vario was sold for 10 more years after its invention and some are still in operation today!

2016

Today

2N has grown from a small telecommunications company in the heart of Europe to a global leader in the intercom market with a line of high-quality intercoms, access readers, elevator solutions, indoor stations, and more. But, we haven’t forgotten where we came from – all our technology is developed, tested, and manufactured in the same city those friends began working on their vision.
