Device Configuration via SMS Commands
2N LTE Verso is equipped with an implemented set of SMS commands, which is used for retrieving the device state and setting the basic mobile data connection parameters. If, e.g., an APN other than that automatically selected upon the first device start is to be set, the appropriate SMS command can be used.
Make sure that all the SMS commands are admin authorized via “pwd=<password>”. The password always matches the web configuration interface login password. If the password is missing or invalid, the device ignores the command and fails to process the data and respond. Make sure that the device is logged into the LTE network to make the device work properly. However, the SMS commands work without data connection too.
