2N Access Unit M

Easy to install and perfect for offices, the 2N Access Unit M features an in-built controller and a single UTP cable is all you need for connection and power. Plus, the access control reader has a slimline design that is great for installation in tricky spots such as door frames. Choose from several versions – RFID, RFID combined with mobile access via Bluetooth, or RFID with a keypad for projects that require two-factor authentication.

Controller and reader in one

The full technology you need is all in one small device, so you’ll save on cabling and won’t have to waste time finding the right spot for the controller. It also works without the need to communicate with a server!

Hassle-free installation

The nearly 3-meter-long Ethernet pigtail makes your installation process a breeze! Simply pull it through the door frame and into the ceiling. Then, connect the access control reader to the IP infrastructure. For wall mounting, use the new installation boxes.

Strong in any environment

It might be small, but it’s strong! 2N Access Unit M has an IP54 protection rating, meaning it can be installed outside and the glass front panel ensures it will remain scratch-free after years of daily use. Despite all this, we’ve kept it affordable.

Reads secured RFID cards

Eliminate the threat of access card copying. Use MIFARE DESFire cards encrypted by 2N PICard technology and be sure that your assets and people are as safe as possible!
