Receive intercom call notifications on your Apple Watch

The My2N app is expanding its Apple Watch features. Users can now receive notifications about incoming intercom calls directly on their watch.

From door access to real-time alerts

Apple Watch users have already been able to unlock doors using the My2N app. With this update, they’ll also get notified when someone rings the intercom. That way they don’t miss calls, even when their phone isn’t in hand.

How it works

The feature currently works via push notifications. When a visitor calls, a notification appears on the Apple Watch. To answer the call, users still need to use their mobile phone. Answering calls directly from the watch is not supported yet.

What’s next

Answering intercom calls on the Apple Watch is something we’re exploring. For now, the watch serves as a quick and convenient way to stay informed about incoming calls.

More features in the My2N App

Have you heard about all the features the My2N App brings for mobile phones?

  • Mobile access: Our Bluetooth-based mobile access technology, WaveKey, offers four different modes for unlocking the door.
  • Video calling: See and talk to anyone requesting access to the property before you let them in.
  • Guest management: Send expected guests their own access code (QR or PIN), set time limits, or revoke access whenever needed.
  • Call log history: Review all calls (answered, missed, or rejected) if necessary. Each log includes a snapshot for added context.
  • Home monitoring: Check what’s happening outside your home anytime, from anywhere in the world.
  • One more new feature is coming soon. Stay tuned for new updates!
