Integration with 2N products

1. Axis Camera Station

   Axis Camera Station (ACS) is Axis’s intuitive video management software for small to medium installations, providing live monitoring and incident management. Since 2N OS 2.30, our IP intercoms have been compatible with ACS, but with the release of 2N OS 2.49, the integration via the Axis VAPIX interface is now much smoother and more reliable. AXIS Camera Station 5 / AXIS Camera Station Pro automatically detects 2N intercoms as soon as they are connected to the network – straight out of the box – so administrators can add them with a single click, making onboarding faster and more effortless than ever.
   
   This integration enhances door monitoring and visitor management by combining high-quality video and audio from 2N intercoms directly into ACS. Operators can monitor live streams, record footage for audits, and receive call or alarm notifications – all within a single interface. Bi-directional audio enables smooth communication with visitors and allows operators to grant remote access directly from the ACS software. 

    

2. AXIS Device Manager

   AXIS Device Manager is a local tool for efficiently managing, configuring, and maintaining large numbers of AXIS and 2N devices from a single, secure interface.

   Since 2N OS 2.30, our IP intercoms have been compatible with AXIS Device Manager, allowing centralized management of large installations. With 2N OS 2.49, the integration now includes automatic discovery of 2N devices for one-click onboarding, as well as centralized configuration of key parameters such as IP settings, date, time, and NTP server. Administrators can also generate configuration files and collect network traces.

3. Axis Camera Station Secure Entry

   Axis Camera Station Secure Entry (ACS Secure Entry) is Axis’s software for managing access control and intercom solutions. It provides a unified interface for configuring, monitoring, and operating Axis door controllers, card readers, and intercoms.
   
   Starting with firmware 2N OS 2.49, 2N IP Intercoms and 2N Access Unit 2.0 can now connect to Axis Door Controllers (A1210 or A1601) via OSDP. This integration ensures proper signalling from the 2N devices to the ACS Secure Entry when a user is either granted or denied access.
   
   Note: A corresponding 2N OSDP module is required, along with one Device License for the Axis Door Controller.
   

    

4. Axis IP cameras

   Selected Axis IP cameras can be connected to 2N IP Intercoms as external cameras. During an active call, users can easily switch from the intercom’s built-in camera to the external camera’s stream, allowing them to monitor the same area from a different angle for greater security awareness.
   
   Axis cameras can also be linked with the 2N Indoor View, providing residents with visibility into areas without an intercom installed, such as hallways, driveways, or spaces behind the house.
   

    

5. Axis IP Utility

   Axis IP Utility is a lightweight, free tool from Axis Communications designed to quickly discover and assign IP addresses to Axis devices, such as cameras, intercoms, encoders, and speakers, on a local network. 
   
   Starting with 2N OS 2.50, the tool now also automatically discovers all 2N devices on the network, making initial setup faster and more intuitive. Administrators can then assign network parameters, such as IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway, or configure devices to obtain their IP address via DHCP.
