2N OS 3.2: easier management, smoother everyday use

2N OS 3.2 introduces improvements that make working with 2N devices easier every day. This release focuses mainly on further enhancements to the new web interface and an even better user experience when using intercoms.

Improved Access Control section

Most devices running 2N OS have supported the new web interface for several months now. It is clearer, more intuitive, and aligned with the design users already know from tools such as 2N Access Commander.

In 2N OS 3.2, we have completely redesigned the Access Control section. The previous version was unnecessarily complex and harder to navigate. The new interface now offers:

  • a clearer structure of settings
  • easier navigation during configuration
  • support for new access control scenarios

The result is faster configuration and simpler management of the access control system.

Larger button for opening doors via mobile

Another usability improvement applies to the 2N IP Style intercom – specifically, an update to the Bluetooth button on the display used to open doors with a mobile phone. When the intercom detects a user with the My2N app nearby, the Bluetooth button automatically becomes larger on the screen. This makes it more visible and easier to use.

Opening doors via mobile is now even faster and more convenient.

Further improvements for greater reliability

Version 2N OS 3.2 also brings a range of smaller enhancements that improve system reliability, expand integration capabilities, and strengthen overall security.

We have extended integrations with third-party platforms (e.g. Genetec), and added support for a new RFID card format, Calypso. The update also includes improvements in cybersecurity and overall system stability, helping ensure safer and more reliable operation in everyday use.

Try 2N OS 3.2

2N OS 3.2 is another step in the ongoing modernization of the user interface across 2N devices. It provides administrators with a clearer interface for system management and users with a more convenient everyday experience when interacting with intercoms.
