Residents now able to grant guests QR codes via My2N Management Platform

QR codes have become an increasingly popular tool for secure, contactless entry, and now it’s added to the My2N Management Platform to make granting access to visitors easier!

We’ve added QR code guest access to the My2N Management Platform! This new feature allows residents (Apartment Admins) and property managers (Site/Company Admins) to send a unique QR code to visitors before their arrival: perfect for scheduled maintenance workers or friends who come to visit.

How does it work?

To enable QR code access for visitors, the site admin must first activate QR code generation by going to Site Settings → Access → Use QR code for visitors.  They also need to enable QR code reading on the intercom itself (Services > Access Control > Entry rules > QR code reading)

Once enabled, residents and property managers can assign QR code access to guests with just a few clicks in the My2N Management Platform, enhancing overall security and convenience.
Just make sure the 2N intercom supports QR code scanning (2N IP Style, 2N IP Verso 2.0, or 2N IP One).

Guest access enabled!

Guests will receive both a QR code and a PIN code in their email, giving them flexible access options. The QR code ensures a fast, contactless entry, while the PIN serves as a backup if needed.
Both the QR code and PIN are valid for the time frame set by the resident or admin, granting the visitor the same access permissions as the apartment user they are visiting.

QR code access within the My2N App coming soon

We plan to allow residents to assign both PIN and QR code guest access directly within the My2N App. Keep your eyes peeled for updates!
