General Description
BAB Technologie develops KNX-based automation software and integration modules used for building control and visualisation. Within this ecosystem, the INTERCOM MODULE and CONTROL T2 software enable integration of IP-based intercom systems into KNX environments.
When integrated with 2N IP Intercoms, the BAB INTERCOM MODULE acts as the interface layer that connects intercom events and functions to the KNX system. Calls, button presses and relay actions from the 2N intercom can be processed within CONTROL T2, allowing intercom interaction to be handled as part of the KNX-controlled building logic.
Where EIBPORT or CUBEVISION modules are used, the integration can be complemented with optional visualisation, enabling live intercom video display and user interaction through KNX visualisation interfaces. In this setup, the 2N intercom provides audio, video and door control, while BAB Technologie components handle logic processing and optional visual presentation within the KNX system.
