Integration with 2N products

General Description
The integration of 2N IP Intercoms with Bosch systems is achieved through two primary pathways, covering both video/monitoring and access control:
- Video Management (BVMS): The 2N intercom's camera acts as a standard ONVIF Profile S IP camera, allowing its real-time video stream (H.264) to be discovered and displayed in the BVMS Operator Client. Video streaming is achieved via RTSP. Furthermore, the ONVIF protocol is used to monitor the state of 2N relays and inputs, allowing events like a switch being activated to be reflected in the Bosch Operator Client.
- Access Control (Bosch Access Systems/BIS): The 2N intercom reader is connected to a Bosch Access Modular Controller (AMC) unit via the Wiegand interface. This enables the transfer of identification data directly from the 2N reader to the Bosch BIS and Access Engine for validation and access logging. This connection allows the use of the reader and camera embedded in the 2N intercom for access control and video verification within the central Bosch security platform. The standard intercom functions are handled, allowing an operator to simply open the door from the Bosch BIS user interface for visitors without an entry card.
