The Challenge The Czech Pavilion at EXPO 2025
The World Expo 2025 in Osaka presents a unique opportunity for each participating country to showcase its best. The Czech Pavilion needed an access control and video monitoring solution that supported day-to-day operations, protected high-value spaces, and ensured seamless access control for staff and visitors.
The organizers also needed a solution that combined robust security with user-friendly operation – all while complementing the pavilion's architectural elegance.

The solution
2N, alongside Axis Communications, was selected to provide a secure, flexible, modern access control solution. It features:
2N IP Style
Our innovative flagship intercoms manage visitor pathways and ensure controlled access, whilst showcasing the best Czech design and cityscapes on a custom 10’’ touchscreen.
2N Access Unit M
56 slimline smart readers were installed to secure critical areas like the server room and auditorium, preventing unauthorized entry.
AXIS M43 IP cameras
30 high-spec security cameras, all integrated with 2N intercoms, provide surveillance and streaming capabilities, with some cameras offering live public feeds.
The My2N app
Enables staff to unlock doors and communicate with visitors remotely, enhancing operational flexibility.
AXIS Camera Station software
The entire system is managed by one software that oversees camera operations, live streaming, and data visualisation.
The Advantages
The integration of 2N and Axis technologies was meticulously tailored to align with the pavilion's architectural design, ensuring that security measures enhanced rather than detracted from the visitor experience. Japanese integrator Takachiho Limited Co. executed the installation, completing the project well before the Expo's opening in early 2025.
