Success Story Jaguar Land Rover protected with new Bluetooth technology – WaveKey

Albion Cars

Albion Cars is a recently opened authorised Jaguar and Land Rover dealer in Prague. The modern showroom and service centre, which is the largest in the Czech Republic, is based on the global concept of these British brands and emphasises elegant design, new technology and high-quality materials. The site has an area of around 4,000 m2 and is made up of several buildings, including a luxury showroom for new cars, servicing facilities, a showroom for used cars and an outdoor sales area. This impressive car showroom currently employs over 100 people. When we were asked to provide a new access control solution, the requirements were clear:

Solution Our partner decided to utilise the following products from the 2N portfolio:

2N Access Unit 2.0

Our latest access control system with Bluetooth for the luxury car showroom. A total of 40 pcs 2N Access Unit 2.0 Bluetooth & RFID devices were installed, one at each entrance. This means that employees can open doors by tapping on our application or holding their mobile phone near the reader.

2N IP Verso

2N IP Verso intercoms were selected for the main entrances. Four of these devices were installed at each of these locations. The 2N IP Verso was selected especially for its modularity, luxury design and improved functions.

2N Mobile Key

The solution also allows each employee to use their mobile phone as a means of identifi cation to gain access to every building (the admin section, showrooms, service areas, the car park and main building). Users only need the 2N Mobile Key application, which transforms their smartphone into an access card.

Reception or the night watchman will always know what is going on at the front of the main entrance thanks to the 2N Mobile Video application. They can use their mobile phone to communicate remotely with any visitors via the external intercoms, monitor movement at the entrance and subsequently open doors.

 2N Access Commander

Configuration and administration of the entire system is guaranteed by the 2N Access Commander system. The graphical interface can be used to perform bulk setup of access rights and specific functions, such as who has access to specific doors or zones and when this access is allowed, for example for visitors or cleaning staff .

"Apart from design and reliability, our main requirements for the new access control system included convenience of use for our employees. In the past, we experienced problems with loss of cards, so we were looking for a solution which could eliminate this situation.
