The Challenge Nuselský Pivovar: 17th-century heritage meets 21st-century access
Nuselský pivovar, developed by Penta Real Estate in the historic heart of Prague, is a striking example of combining modern architecture with the sensitive restoration of heritage buildings. Dating back to 1694, the former brewery has been transformed into 505 apartments and several commercial units. To connect such a diverse development, the investor turned to 2N for a single, flexible access solution that would respect the character of the site while meeting the needs of today’s residents.
The developer needed an access solution that would connect new buildings with carefully restored historic structures, while serving residents, tenants, commercial operators, and service providers. It had to be technically reliable, easy to use, visually in tune with the architecture, and capable of handling a wide range of access scenarios.
