Easy unlock and call hang in one step

The steps in this article require using the web interface of a 2N device. Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.



The Configuration

Note: The Gold License is required. 
 
In our example, the intercom has IP Address 192.168.50.20.
 
In the intercom's web interface, go to Hardware -> Switches  -> Switch1 and type to the Switch-On Command field:
  • 192.168.50.20/api/call/hangup?session=1

Now, it is needed to setup the security for this feature. There are 2 ways to go on.

Unsecured:

  • Please, go to Services  -> HTTP API -> Services, put Connection Type to Unsecure (TCP) and Authentication to None for Phone/Call API.

Secure - password protected:

  • Please, go to Services -> HTTP API -> Services, setup Connection Type to Unsecure (TCP) and Authentication to Digest for Phone/Call API.

  • Please, go to Services -> HTTP API -> Account 1, enable the account and create your credentials (User Name, Password) and check Monitoring and Control check boxes for Phone/Call Access.

  • Return to the Hardware -> Switches -> Switch1 and use the credentials for the HTTP Command.

Now it is ready to use unlocking and hanging up procedure in one step.
