New variants of the 2N IP Force 2.0 released

We’re expanding the flexibility of the 2N IP Force 2.0 with new audio-only options.

Proven durability, advanced (audio) capabilities

Do you have a project that only requires audio but has strict security standards? Are you interested in securing an outdoor area, parking entrance, or secured facility with a highly durable intercom featuring advanced noise cancellation?

We can meet these needs and more with new variants of our most durable IP intercom.

Is audio-only right for your project?

The audio-only 2N IP Force 2.0 is ideal for, but not limited to:

  • Installations that don’t need a camera but still need maximum weather resistance, durability, tamper resistance, and robust security
  • Projects with strict cybersecurity standards
  • Environments where audio clarity is more important than video
  • High-security sites (secured facilities, government buildings, etc.)
  • Outdoor sites that don’t need a camera
  • Sites that want an intercom that can integrate with external VMS systems & support a third-party IP camera

Future-proof, reliable audio communication

Proven durability

The 2N IP Force 2.0 sets the benchmark for durability, including the audio-only variants. With IK10 & IP69 ratings, they’re built for entrances exposed to vandalism, harsh weather, and heavy use.

Multiple versions available

As with the camera variant, customers can choose between one, two, or four-button configurations, keypad, and RFID-ready options.

Enhanced audio capabilities

Even if you don’t need a camera, misunderstandings could still create security risks.

All variants of the 2N IP Force 2.0 have outstanding audio performance, thanks to the Axis ARTPEC-8 processor.

Advanced noise cancellation filters out wind, traffic, and industrial noise, ensuring clear communication even in loud, busy areas.

Fully integrated security

If you’re choosing audio-only because you’re working with an existing VMS system with external IP cameras, the 2N IP Force 2.0 is a great option. It can easily integrate with external high-resolution IP cameras, ensuring full situational awareness.

Plus, all 2N IP Force 2.0 units integrate seamlessly with leading VMS, access control, and SIP-based platforms. The RFID-ready versions support OSDP for secure, encrypted communication and will work as part of a larger security ecosystem.

What else do the new variants offer you?

Full RED Compliance

All variants of the 2N IP Force 2.0 provide a long-term, compliant option for projects.

The audio-only 2N IP Force 2.0, when combined with a radio module (an RFID internal reader, or external via VBus), meets cybersecurity requirements from the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, which became mandatory across the EU in August 2025.

The RED ensures all radio-based devices meet strict standards for safety, electromagnetic compatibility, spectrum efficiency, and cybersecurity.

This update affected the first-generation 2N IP Force: RFID and induction loop modules can no longer be sold. However, all main units remain available for EU customers.

Accessibility-ready (EAA)

In EMEA, the audio-only 2N IP Force 2.0 also helps meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Key accessibility features include:

  • Clear audio signaling to guide all users
  • Variant with pictograms that display the intercom’s call state for the hearing impaired or deaf
  • Optional induction loop accessory for hearing aid compatibility
  • Tactile keypad, as well as tactile stickers that can be added to call buttons to make them accessible for blind and visually impaired users

This makes it a responsible choice for buildings that need to meet EAA criteria.
