The nerve centre of our access control solution is 2N Access Commander. Use it for managing access to the building and monitoring the status of 2N access devices in real time. Its intuitive user interface lets you set up the system quickly and delegate everyday activities directly to the customer.
You can also use generated QR codes as an access credential of users and visitors and send it over e-mail.
Prerequisites
- 2N Access Commander the latest version;
no additional license is required.
- 2N device with AXIS ARTPEC-7 chip and the latest firmware
( Access Unit QR , IP One , IP Style , IP Verso 2.0 );

Creating a QR code for a user
- In 2N Access Commander web interface, go to section Users,
open an existing user or create a new one.
- Add credential here.
- The QR code can be directly printed or sent over e-mail (requires SMTP server configured in 2N Access Commander).

Creating a QR code for a visitor
- In 2N Access Commander web interface, go to section Visitors,
open an existing visitor or create a new one.
- Add credential here.
- The QR code can be directly printed or sent over e-mail (requires SMTP server configured in 2N Access Commander).

- You can also create a user with privilege to manage visitors and activate him simplified user interface for his mobile phone
with possibility to share the QR code in another application.

Supported 2N device configuration
- QR code reading must be enabled in the devices.
Please enable it in the 2N device web interface, section Services - Access Control - Entry / Exit Rules.

- If 2N Access Commander´s access rules are set properly,
you will find QR codes in your device, in section Directory - Users, as 10 to 15-digit PIN.
The QR code can be optically different then QR code in 2N Access Commander,
but if the 10 to 15-digit PINs are the same, then it will work.
