New 2N® IP Verso 2.0: our bestselling IP intercom: now with a Full HD camera

2N are true innovators in the field of IP Intercoms – and we’re proud to introduce you to the next generation of our best-selling IP intercom, the 2N® IP Verso 2.0.

The 2N® IP Verso was already a ground-breaking video intercom - however, the only limitation in some installations has been the quality of the camera – which we discovered from global surveys plus our own market research. More than 50% of office projects (and now increasingly even residential ones) require an IP intercom with a Full HD camera (1080p).

This means it’s not just a nice update to give an already great IP intercom – it’s a market necessity and something you should offer your customers as standard!

What’s new?

Harder chassis

The 2N® IP Verso 2.0 boasts a new chassis made of anodised aluminium. This makes the IP intercom body much stronger, and it holds its shape perfectly during installation without a single dent. The chassis itself also serves as a heatsink for the new more powerful processor.

Better camera

Enhance the security of projects and the peace of mind of those answering video calls from the 2N® IP Verso 2.0 thanks to the new Full HD camera. This new wide-angle camera provides crystal-clear colour images and supports WDR: a function which lightens dark areas and darkens overexposed parts of images.  This means no more black silhouettes in cases when the sun is shining directly behind the visitor. Another advantage is the perfectly maintained image colour - even in very low light conditions. It’s only in complete darkness (rather than dusk) that the IP intercom will switch to night mode and use IR illumination.

Faster access

Allow users to access buildings at lightning speed thanks to the support of multiple access technologies! In addition to the current access methods offered by the 2N® IP Verso (traditional RFID and PIN code, fingerprint and modern mobile access based on Bluetooth or NFC), the new generation of this IP intercom will also support QR code access – a great, quick solution for one-time visits / temporary access
 

Stronger capabilities

The IP intercom features an Axis ARTPEC-7 processor which has taken the features offered to another level. Our parent company Axis leads the way in IP cameras, and the processor gives the 2N® IP Verso 2.0 excellent image quality, efficient video stream compression, and enough power for new advanced features such as QR code access and advanced motion detection.

What did we keep the same?

• Modularity – simply, that is a reason people love its predecessor as they can create the intercom that exactly fits their needs. All the existing 20 modules, installation frames, boxes and backplates are compatible with this next generation of 2N® IP Verso intercom.
• Installation – the great advantage that the 2N® IP Verso 2.0 also takes over from its predecessor is the various installation options - recessed, wall-mounted, and glass-mounted.
• Configuration – You can still configure the 2N® IP Verso 2.0 in the same way you’re used to – either directly in the easy-to-navigate 2N OS or remotely via the My2N Management Platform. You’ll also get all the great features such as Automation settings.
