Grant visitor access directly in the My2N App!

If residents know someone is coming to visit, they can now send their visitors PIN or QR code for access in advance. Can you think of all the possible scenarios?

Configure credentials based on the visitor

Whether it's a relative or a janitor, you can customize access permissions to suit the situation. For instance, you might grant a relative unlimited access, while providing the janitor fixing your air conditioning with time-limited access. Planning a party? You can even send time-limited access to a group of friends.

In short, no matter who the visitor is, residents—specifically apartment admins—can set everything up in advance using the My2N App. Once access is assigned, guests can enter the same areas as the residents they’re visiting.

It’s also worth noting that site admins can monitor guest access through access logs, which can be invaluable in security incidents.

Choose your preferred access method

You don’t always need to answer an intercom call in person. Whether you’re in an important meeting, bathing your child, or have messy hands from baking, granting visitors access ahead of time allows them to let themselves in.

Guests can choose between two popular access methods: PIN codes or QR codes. Which should you choose? QR codes provide a mobile-friendly and convenient option, while PIN codes offer a more traditional alternative.

One app, multiple services

The My2N app is already packed with useful features. One of its main functions is receiving intercom calls no matter where you are, allowing you to open the door for guests remotely. Another is enabling mobile access via Bluetooth or NFC.

The addition of guest access management has made the My2N app better still by offering even more convenience to users. This is another significant step toward making My2N the only app you need for a complete residential solution.

How can a resident grant access to a visitor?

Make sure the resident who wants to create a visitor has the apartment admin role assigned in the My2N Management Platform.

  1. Open the My2N app.
  2. Go to ‘Apartments’ section.
  3. Press the ‘Create new visitor’ button.
  4. Fill in the visitor’s name and the validity of the credential, if needed.
  5. Share the credential with the visitor via email or any communication platform you prefer.
