New integrations added to the 2N Integration Hub

At 2N, we believe that innovation never stands still. As building technologies evolve and customer expectations grow, we continue to invest in expanding our open integration ecosystem—ensuring that our IP intercoms and access control solutions work seamlessly with the platforms that shape modern living and working environments.

Following our previous overview of new integration partners, development has continued at full speed. With each new connection, we reinforce 2N’s open-platform approach—giving architects, integrators, and property managers more flexibility to design secure, future-ready access solutions that fit real project needs.

Vessel Technologies (Home Automation / Residential Platforms)

Vessel Technologies develops modern, sustainability-focused apartment homes that combine digital services with efficient building design to deliver affordable, technology-enabled living across North America.

Through a cloud-to-cloud integration with 2N, access control is embedded directly into the MyVessel mobile app and property management portal. Residents can receive video calls from 2N IP intercoms, unlock doors remotely, or use Bluetooth auto-unlock powered by 2N WaveKey. Property managers can centrally manage access for visitors, deliveries, maintenance, and emergency services with synchronized entry codes and automated intercom display updates.

Node-RED (Automation / Integrations)

Node-RED is a widely used, low-code automation tool that allows developers and system integrators to connect devices, services, and APIs through visual, event-driven workflows.

Integrated directly into 2N Access Commander, Node-RED enables flexible automation based on events from 2N intercoms and access units, making it easy to link access control with third-party systems and external services. To support collaboration, 2N is building a shared library of reusable Node-RED flows on its official GitHub profile, inviting partners and integrators to contribute and expand the possibilities of open access automation.

To further support advanced automation projects, 2N has also launched the 2N Node-RED Specialist initiative, recognising partners who build expert-level Node-RED integrations directly within 2N Access Commander.

Genea (Access Control / Commercial Platforms)

Genea is a cloud-based property technology platform designed for enterprise and commercial real estate that combines access control, visitor management, and mobile credentials within an open, automation-driven ecosystem.

Integrated with 2N IP intercoms, Genea lets teams receive intercom calls and grant access directly from the Genea platform or mobile app. Flexible call routing ensures fast response, while detailed event logs and interactive floor plans provide clear visibility across entry points. This unified view makes it easy to monitor and manage 2N intercoms alongside other building systems, supporting efficient operations and stronger security across large portfolios.

Inlet (Home Automation / Security Systems)

Inlet is an integration platform that connects smart locks with digital services such as booking systems, mobile apps, intercoms, and property management platforms. By bridging software and physical access points, it enables automated, keyless access across hospitality, coworking, residential, and commercial environments.

Integrated with 2N IP intercoms, Inlet allows doors to be unlocked directly during an active intercom call or from the camera view, streamlining visitor entry without manual key handling or code management. Using HTTP-based automations, multiple doors can be opened simultaneously with a single action, making it easy to coordinate access across buildings while keeping control fully automated and centrally managed.

Loxone (Home Automation)

Loxone provides an intelligent automation platform for homes and buildings, enabling centralized control of lighting, shading, HVAC, energy management, and security through its Miniserver-based ecosystem.

Integrated with 2N IP intercoms, Loxone connects building entry points directly to the smart home environment. Intercom calls trigger notifications in the Loxone app, where users can view live video, communicate with visitors, and securely unlock doors. At the same time, 2N Indoor units can be used to control Loxone functions such as lighting, blinds, or predefined scenes, allowing access control and building automation to work together as one seamless system.

OpenAnytime (Access Control / Middleware)

Open Anytime is a middleware platform that centralizes and automates access control across entire real estate portfolios. Designed to work independently of hardware or vendors, it connects mechanical and digital access systems into a single application layer that integrates easily with business and property management software.

When integrated with 2N IP intercoms and access devices, Open Anytime enables real-time, automated control of building entry points from one platform. Access rights can be issued, adjusted, or revoked remotely via dashboard, API, or app, supporting temporary, role-based, or event-driven permissions at scale. Features such as tap-to-open via NFC Smart Tiles and integration with ERP, CRM, HR, or ticketing systems help simplify operations, reduce manual processes, and deliver flexible, future-proof access management across mixed property environments.

ComfortClick (Home Automation / KNX)

ComfortClick is a building automation platform designed to simplify smart building control while remaining flexible enough for complex, large-scale projects. Its bOS platform connects and visualizes multiple building systems through a single interface, supporting open standards and extensive customization without the need for scripting.

Integrated with 2N IP intercoms, ComfortClick allows intercom events—such as calls, button presses, or relay changes—to trigger KNX scenes and automation workflows across the building. Live video from 2N devices is displayed directly in the ComfortClick app, with real-time call notifications sent to mobile devices. This creates a unified smart building experience in which access control and building automation operate together within a single, scalable management environment.

Continuous integration, continuous innovation

We’ll continue working closely with developers, system integrators, and platform providers to deliver new integrations that simplify design, improve user experience, and unlock greater value from access control.
