Connection via HyperTerminal - How can I connect using HyperTerminal?

HyperTerminal is a program included in Windows. You can find it in menu Start > All programs > Accessories > Communication.

For connection to the gateway using COM port you should set following parameters:

  1. Bitrate set to 57600

  2. Flow control set to none

  3. Rest of values will stay default

Second option is to use TCP/IP connection. When you use TCP/IP, you have to use port 23 for the communication with the gateway.
