External USB RFID reader 125kHz EMarine - Usage without any additional driver
You can use our external USB RFID reader to add RFID cards/fobs to the 2N IP Intercom´s and 2N Access Unit´s users directly from your computer.
This guide will show you how to use this USB 125KHz RFID reader (9137420E).

If you have our USB 13.56MHz+125kHz RFID reader (9137421E/9137424E),
please follow another article below, because of necessary additional driver.
External USB readers - Driver installation & usage

Prerequisities
- 2N USB 125KHz RFID reader (9137420E)
- 2N IP intercom or 2N Access Unit with the latest firmware, equipped with 125 kHz RFID reader
- Optionally 2N Access Commander the latest version
- English keyboard in the computer system
Installation
To use the USB 125 kHz RFID reader, you do not need a specific driver.
It works similar to a keyboard, sending codes of top (row) numeric keyboard.
- Connect the USB reader to the USB port of your computer.
- Setup English keyboard in the system.
Reading 125 kHz RFID card
- 2N IP intercom or 2N Access Unit
- Go to the web interface of the device, section Directory - Users - specific user - User Cards.
- Click your mouse on the Card ID field. Make sure it is completely empty.
- Swipe your RFID card over the USB reader (the code is automatically translated from DEC to HEX) and save.
- Go to the web interface of the device, section Directory - Users - specific user - User Cards.

- 2N Access Commander
- Use your web browser to open the web configuration, go to Settings - Credentials section and enable the reader to use.

- In Users section add the RFID card to the user using connected USB reader.
