Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.    2N Meeting Room app is an application for simple room management. It shows actual and upcoming events and allows you to create new reservation of the meeting room directly from the application. This application makes the reservation process of the meeting room more flexible and more user friendly.      Basic features:     Show events for specific meeting room    Room reservation    You can see details of the event    Support Outlook, Exchange , Gmail and Zimbra calendars    Widgets ( weather forecast, time, custom logo)      Requirements    2N Indoor Touch 2.0 with firmware version: 4.3 and higher  2N Meeting Room app license (Part number: 91378396)           Content  How to activate 2N Meeting Room app First step is to activate the 2N Meeting Room application by using license. License can be loaded into the device by using web interface of the unit.      Once the license will be enabled on the unit, you can activate the 2N Meeting Room application in the same section on the web interface of the unit.       Warning   Once the 2N Meeting Room app is activated, the unit does not respond to any calls and the 2N Meeting Room app is the only application that will be running on the unit. You can disable the 2N Meeting Room application again.   The reason why you can't make the call to the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 while 2N Meeting Room is active is to avoid unwanted calls and to keep the overview of meeting room events always on the the screen.   2N Meeting Room is running always on the foreground.     Connection to calendars Once the 2N Meeting Room app is active, you can see the following dashboard on the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0.   The following calendars can be used:  Zimbra  Outlook  System Account - Exchange / IMAP connection  Gmail  Demo account   Outlook connection Choose Outlook option and sign in.        Once you are signed in, you can choose specific calendar of the Outlook.       System account (Exchange) connection Choose System account option and add system account.    Choose Exchange and fill in your account details and follow the instructions.     You may be asked to activate device administration and also PIN code if the company has more restricted security polices.   Gmail connection Sign in to your Gmail account   Choose specific calendar       Home screen You can see the overview of the events by clicking on home button in the upper right corner.   There are 3 situations that may occur on the home screen  A meeting room is available - If the meeting room is available you can schedule ad hoc event directly from the home screen by clicking on "+" button and choose a specific time frame for the meeting. You can choose between 5 min, 15 min and 30 min time frame. Once added, temporary event will be scheduled in the calendar of the meeting room. This function can be used for the quick room reservation. If the meeting room is available, the green LED diode is active.  Upcoming event is scheduled and needs to be confirmed - Scheduled event needs to be confirmed before the start of the event, otherwise it will be erased from the meeting room calendar. You can enable automatic confirmation in the section Settings - Personal - Automatic confirmation  Meeting room is occupied - If the meeting room is occupied, you can see when the meeting ends, attendees of the meeting or cancel the meeting. Cancellation of the meetings can be enabled in the section Settings - Personal - Events that may be cancelled. If the meeting room is occupied, the red LED diode is active.     A meeting room is avaliable        Upcoming event is scheduled and needs to be confirmed               Meeting room is occupied

2N Network Scanner - Locating 2N devices in the network

The 2N Network Scanner is a simple, freely available application for locating 2N devices in the network. After searching the network, the application shows the type, firmware version and IP address of all intercoms found on a chart. This simplifies the administration and installation of intercom systems.  Prerequisites A computer with Windows / MacOS operating systemSupported 2N devices 2N Access Commander2N Access Units2N Answering units2N IP Intercoms2N LiftIP units (not for 2N Lift8)2N SIP Speakers    Installation of 2N Network Scanner Download application from the product page and install it.   Locating 2N devices  After you run the software, it will scan connected networks and provide you with list of detected 2N devices.       If you need to rescan connected networks, please click on File - Refresh.      Or by right clicking on one device and choosing the Refresh option.       Changing IP settings of a detected 2N device Right click on the device and choose the Config option.If the device is grayed out and you can´t see the Config option,then the device does not support changing IP settings via 2N Network Scanner.     In configuration, you can change between DHCP and static IP settings.You need to confirm changes by entering a password used for the Admin user.    Browsing the web configuration of the device Double click on the detected device to browse its web configuration.    Or by right clicking on the device and choosing the Browse... option.       Filtering search results You have the option to filter search results by typing into the filter box.You can filter for IP address, serial number, display name or firmware version.

Access key - How to configure on the Indoor Touch

Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.   The 2N IP Mobile application in 2N Indoor Touch 1.0 and 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 can communicate with all 2N IP Intercoms in the local network (and vice versa) by default. In order to increase basic security of the installation for certain scenarios we have implemented an optional access authentication for the 2N IP Mobile application in 2N IP Intercoms by an adjustable Access Key. Thanks to the Access key settings, only selected mobile applications with the key set in the Group Authentication field of the application can detect the intercom connected in the same network.    How to set the Access Key in the 2N Intercom  How to set the Access Key in the 2N Indoor Touch 1.0  How to set the Access Key in the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0  How to add Intercom units to the Indoor Touch device    How to set the Access Key in the 2N Intercom Navigate to the section Calling (1), Local Calls (2),  Configuration - Connection to answering units (3)Fill in the "Access Key" field, to enable authentication for the 2N Helios IP Mobile application.You can add up to 3 Access Keys as shown below:   How to set the Access Key in the 2N Indoor Touch 1.0 Once the 2N Indoor Touch 1.0 is connected to the local network and powered (over PoE or using an external 12V DC/2A power supply) it will boot up and you see its initial screen (launcher). Adding external Axis camera to 2N Indoor Touch 2.0

You are able to add an external Axis camera into the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0. There are two ways how you can switch between the streams from external and internal cameras. The first option is to add Axis camera directly to the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0. The second option is to connect any IP camera to the intercom and use automation to be able to switch between the streams. Prerequisities:   Prerequisities    Axis camera (tested with Axis P3225-LVE MK II)  Firmware version  3.3.0.2.0  or higher           You can add only Axis camara into the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0. However there is a work around in case that you have different IP camera.  Step by step guide In order to assign the external IP Axis camera to the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 you need to open the device list.    Figure 1 Then choose the intercom to which you would like to assign the camera. In this example it is Verso with IP address 192.168.50.134 and go into the details.    Figure 2 In the detail of the intercom you can enable the external camera option and you only need to configure the IP address of the camera ( in this example 192.168.50.172), login and password. We will show you how to add an external Axis IP camera directly into our 2N Indoor Touch to easy switch between its stream and IP intercom´s internal camera stream during a video call.   Only Axis IP camera is supported, however you can still connect any IP camera with suitable parameters to an IP intercom and switch between streams thanks to its automation function. For more information please visit the following FAQs. External IP camera in 2N IP intercomHow to switch to external IP camera connected to 2N IP intercom    Prerequisities    Axis IP camera (tested with Axis P3225-LVE MK II)  2N Indoor Touch with firmware version 3.3.0.2.0 or higher       Settings of 2N Indoor Touch Go to the on-screen menu and in the device list add a new device.  Choose the intercom to which you would like to assign the camera and go into its details.    Enable the external camera option and fill in IP camera´s IP address, login and password. You don't need to know the streaming URL, just the IP address of the camera.    Now you can switch between the video streams during the video call by using the camera button on the right upper corner.     Settings of Axis IP camera You can change the resolution and codec type in the Axis camera in the following section.

Configuring email notification on 2N indoor Touch

This FAQ will explain how to configure the email client on 2N Indoor Touch unit. This email notification could be helpful in case of a missed call from any 2N intercom (except 2N IP Base and 2N IP Uni) because the notification can contain the picture of the person who has been trying to reach you.    2N Intercom SMTP settings   The first step is to configure the SMTP client on the intercom side like on the following figure:   Figure 1: SMTP settings        You can make a test and verify if the setting of the SMTP service is correct by using Email service diagnostics on the same section of the page Services->E-mail->SMTP->Email sending diagnostics.        In this example let's assume that i have assigned the user under the quick dial button of the intercom and i would like to receive the e-mail notification with the picture of the person who has been trying to call me. In this case it is necessary to configure the e-mail address to that specific quick dial button.    Figure 2: user E-mail setting      Settings when the email has to be sent can be found in the section: Services->E-mail->E-mail on call. Connecting bell button to 2N Indoor Touch 2.0

This FAQ describes how to connect bell button to the 2N Indoor Touch and how to configure 2N IP Mobile application. With bell button it is possible to call to the 2N Indoor Touch directly without using any other devices. Upon pressing the door button 2N Indoor Touch starts ringing based on the configuration of the 2N IP Mobile application..   Requirement  2N Indoor Touch with firmware 2.0 or higher  2N IP Mobile ver. 4.2 or higher  Bell button  2-wires cable       How to connect bell button to the 2N Indoor Touch  2N Indoor Touch contains, on the opposite site, ports to connect bell button directly to the device. As you can see in the picture (1), there are IN1, IN1/OUT1, IN2, IN2/OUT2, DC12+ etc.      Pic. 1   Warning!!! The door bell feature requires corresponding HW version of 2N Indoor Touch (ver.4, see label on its back side) equipped by the input modules.      To connect bell button and configure 2N IP Mobile ver. 4.2 follow the steps below:  Connect 2-wire bell button to the 2N Indoor Touch. Use ports IN1 or IN2, DC12V+ OUT. In pictures (2, 3) is shown IN1, DC12V+ OUT.         Pic. 2, 3 Open 2N IP Mobile, go to Settings and turn on the Door button       Pic. 4  Select the desired input for the door bell button. GPI1,2 are by default in logical 1.    Non-inverted Input – The application is not ringing once the button is pressed. Once you release the button the application starts to ring. The time for ringing is defined in section Maximal ringing time.           Inverted Input – Application is ringing during the time you are holding the button. If you only press the button, the application will be ringing minimal ringing time. Custom language localization in 2N IP Mobile Application

The 2N IP Mobile app for 2N Indoor Touch supports custom language localization over a user accessible file.   In the first step is necessary to insert the SD card into the 2N Indoor Touch and copy the localization file from the application. You can do this in the section settings -> Custom Localization.  Figure 1 Click on the option Export EN strings file.  Figure 2 Now you are able to save the strings file on your SD card. By default the SD card folder is called sdcard1.  Figure 3 The string file saved on your SD card is called translationMap-en.json. This file can be opened by text editor such as Notepad++. The file contains text strings which can be translated into your language. Text strings are in the following format: {"data":[  translation,  translation,     ...  translation ]} Where translation is represented by specific text strings for example:   {"  android_title_ext_ring_enabled  ":{  "hint":"External ringing notification"  ,  "value":"External ringing notification"  }} where:   key  – is the text string key (substitutes name in strings.xml)   hint  – is the meaning of the text    Value  – is the user text translation    IMPORTANT   Warning     The changes of the  KEY  string are not recommended.   Do not change the content of the key string. After that you have the option to either make a call to the device or unlock the door     Answer call on 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 If somebody is at the door and he calls you you will hear ringing and Camera Preview with option to pickup/decline call and unlock door will appear.During the call you can mute your microphone by clicking on the Microphone icon.    Unlock door from 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 If you want to unlock the door from 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 you can do that both outside or during call.By simple click on Padlock button you will activate Switch1 on the Intercom. If you have more Switches activated you can enroll them by holding your finger on the Padlock button.      Web browser 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 has preinstalled browser Google Chrome which can be used just like you would use it on your smartphone          Gallery Gallery serves for viewing all the pictures which are stored in the device.      File Manager The last thing you can see on default Home Screen is File Manager which is used for browsing files stored in local or external storage of the device.

Differences between the old model 2N Indoor Touch and new one 2N Indoor Touch 2.0

Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface. 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 looks exactly the same as older model 2N Indoor Touch. However, there are changes regarding the performance and some other features. In this FAQ we will explain the changes and describe new features. New home screen looks differently in comparison with the older model and it is more intuitive. The default applications on the home screen are:  File Manager  Web Browser  Intercoms (Application 2N IP Mobile for calls)  Gallery  1x free slot for 3rd party application  You can also notice that in the left corner there is Settings menu (1) and in the right one there is icon which tells you if you are connected via the WiFi or via the Ethernet (2) and About menu (3) where you can get information about the current firmware version. You will be asked for the change of the password during the first connection via the web browser. There are three main sections:  Maintenance - You can perform factory reset, firmware update or backup of the configuration. Back up of the configuration can be done only via the web interface. Direct calling to 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 from AXIS A8207-VE

2N Indoor Touch 2.0 is able to receive calls from AXIS door stations such as A8207-VE or I8016-LVE. However there are some limitations.   Limitations    It is not possible to make a call from the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 towards the AXIS Door Stations.  No video preview during the incoming call.  2N Indoor Touch 2.0 with firmware version 4.0.5. and later.  Tested with AXIS A8207-VE with f  irmware version   18.    IP address of AXIS A8207-VE: 10.0.14.70.  IP address of 2N Indoor Touch 2.0: 10.0.14.55. This is only an example, please change it according to your network requirements.            Configuration of 2N Indoor Touch 2.0  Go to onscreen menu - Intercoms - Settings and disable SIP port randomisation feature           Configuration of AXIS A8207-VE or AXIS I8016-LVE intercoms  Go to web management - VoIP - SIP Settings and enable SIP.      Go to web management - VoIP - Phone book - Call button and add 2N Indoor Touch 2.0's SIP address as a recipient of the call button press.       Go to web management - VoIP - DTMF and add DTMF Sequence for unlocking the door by 2N Indoor Touch 2.0.       Go to web management - Events - Management - Action Rules and create a new Action Rule to open the door when DTMF sequence is received during call.

2N Indoor Touch 2.0 is able to receive calls from the AXIS door station A8004-VE. However there are some limitations.   Limitations    It is not possible to make a call from the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 towards the AXIS Door Stations.  No video preview during the incoming call.  2N Indoor Touch 2.0 with firmware version 4.0.5. and later.  Tested with AXIS A8004-VE with f  irmware version   1.65.2.    IP address of AXIS A8004-VE: 10.0.14.50.  IP address of 2N Indoor Touch 2.0: 10.0.14.55. You can download logs, network traces and a configuration file in case of some issues with your unit. These files will be requested by technical support during the troubleshooting.  Logs Logs can be downloaded in case of some issues with the unit. We recommend to enable extended logging feature of the Intercoms application in case of some issues and troubleshooting.  Extended logging can be enabled in the section Application -> Settings -> Logging (Figure 1). There are two modes of the SIP registration of the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 unit to the My2N portal, 2N Indoor Touch 2.0   does not require any further subscription:      Local  -   and allows you to use the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 in your local network. The reason why you can choose this mode is to make the configuration of the intercom easier so it is not necessary for you to disable the automatic configuration and you can just simply add the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 in your local mode and the intercom will be configured automatically. In this mode, the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 has to be placed in the same LAN as the intercom.    Cloud  -    and     allows you to make the calls from the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 to the 2N Mobile Video application and vice versa. You can use this mode in situations where the unit is placed in a different LAN than the intercom.    Caution   2N Indoor Touch 2.0 require firmware version 4.7 or higher           1. Local mode  You can add the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 by clicking on the Devices button and then the ADD DEVICE button. Then choose the 2N Device option.       In the next step, you will be asked for putting the serial number of the device, then you will name it and put the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0's ID.Finally, you will confirm it by clicking on NEXT below right (and also on one upcoming window).                Device name - this is a name that will be shown in your My2N account  (in this example the name of the device is Indoor Touch 2.0)   Device ID - this is the device name of the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 - see the picture below for the location of the ID   (in this example the ID is IDT20)               2. Cloud mode  In My2N press the button Devices in order to see your devices. On the side of the 2N Indoor Touch HTTP API license is needed, ordering number is 91378395. On the side of the intercom you will need Enhanced integration license as Automation will be used, ordering number is 9137907. Below you will find screenshots of configuration with brief description of how to configure such function. Scenarios below serves mainly as a demonstration of possibilities given by HTTP API and examples of how to control your touch panel in this way. You can easily adjust them or use different ones with help from the HTTP API manual here.         How to control relay/output of 2N Indoor Touch via 2N IP Mobile This function enables you to control the outputs of your touch panel via the native 2N application called 2N IP Mobile. The output will be triggered by one of the lock buttons in the application showed below. All four locks will appear after you hold the button lock in the preview of a particular intercom. Those four locks are representing four switches in the 2N IP intercom web interface.  For our scenario we chose button one which is representing Switch 1. This switch can be configured in section "Hardware->Switches->Switch 1". Because these switches also serve to control the outputs of the intercom itself, you can optionally set parameter "Controlled Output" to "None". This will ensure that no output of the intercom will be triggered together with an output of the touch panel once the Switch 1 will be triggered.   Now we define the HTTP command which the intercom sends to itself once the lock button on the touch panel will be pressed. This HTTP command will be used in the next step, where the Automation function will be created. This command has to be entered in the field "Switch-On Command" and URL looks like this:    http://192.168.50.157/enu/trigger/test    Part "http://192.168.50.157/enu/trigger/" is mandatory. The string at the end (test) can be replaced by a custom one. The IP address has to be replaced by IP address of your intercom.  In the next step you need to create automation function to control 2N Indoor Touch via its HTTP API. To create an Automation scenario, click on edit of one of the functions as shown on the picture below.Then create the scenario by dragging-and-dropping and connecting the objects from the left side of the screen. The description of the function is below.  Event.HttpTrigger Name=Test - This Event serves to detect the HTTP command you created in the previous step. If you chose a custom string instead of Test, then please fill the right one for "Name="  Action.SendHttpRequest uri=https://192.168.50.236/api/v1/login?login=Admin&password=2n; Event=1 - This object ensures, that once the HTTP command from the HttpTrigger is received, then the intercom will send the HTTP command with authentication credentials to create a session with the touch panel. The IP address has to be replaced by actual IP address of your 2N Indoor Touch.  Event.Delay StartEvent=1; Delay=300mss - Delay on the third row ensures that session is opened properly, before intercom will send next HTTP command. Hence that the delay starts as soon as the HttpTrigger receives the http command.  Action.SendHttpRequest uri=https://192.168.50.236/api/v1/gpio?action=set&name=relay1&type=value&value=1;Event=3 - This command will trigger relay1 of the touch panel after the delay from the Delay object and will set it to "value=1" (at the end of URL). Values in the URL are described in HTTP manual here.  Event.Delay StartEvent=3; Delay=3s - After this delay another command will be sent and the relay will be set back to 0. So this delay defines, for how long the relay will be closed.  Action.SendHttpRequest uri=https://192.168.50.236/api/v1/gpio?action=set&name=relay1&type=value&value=0;Event=5 - This command will open the relay after the delay from the Delay object. You can see that the command is exactly the same as the command from the 4th row. Except for the value at the end which was changed to "value=0".      Export for sandbox style automation: click to download   Last step will be to enable Unsecure HTTP API for your 2N Indoor Touch. You will go to the web interface of your Indoor Touch then to the Device Section and finally to the System Administration, then check the Insecure HTTP Access like in the picture below.      How to minimize 2N IP Mobile once call is ended This feature is achieved by automation function only, so you don't need to configure switches like in previous scenarios. This function ensures, that everytime a call between the 2N Indoor Touch and the 2N IP intercom is terminated, the application is minimized. How to create such a function is described below:  Event.CallStateChanged State=terminated - This Event detects the end of a call and triggers the Action.  Action.SendHttpRequest uri=https://192.168.50.236/api/v1/login?login=Admin&password=2n; Event=1 - This row ensures, that once the HTTP command from the CallStateChanged object is received, then the intercom will send HTTP command with the authentication credentials to create a session with the touch panel. The IP address has to be replaced by actual IP address of your 2N Indoor Touch.  Event.Delay StartEvent=1; Delay=300ms - Delay ensures that the session is opened properly, before the intercom will send the next HTTP command.  Action.SendHttpRequest uri=https://192.168.50.236/api/v1/hipm?action=minimize; Event=3 - After the Delay ends, the intercom sends the HTTP command which will minimize the app. Description of this command can be found here.     How to restart 2N Indoor Touch via 2N IP Mobile Now you will learn how to achieve a restart of the 2N Indoor Touch by pressing the lock button in the app again. As the first three pictures are basically identical for this scenario, please refer to the previous one. We chose to use Switch 2 for this scenario represented by lock 2 in the app. You need to go to section "Hardware->Switches->Switch 2". If you want to disable controlled output on the intercom again, then the procedure is exactly the same as in previous step. You need to change parameter "Controlled Output" to "None". Then you need to fill "Switch-On Command" again. We chose this URL for this scenario:   http://192.168.50.157/enu/trigger/test1   Part "http://192.168.50.157/enu/trigger/" is mandatory. How to update 2N Indoor Touch? 2N Indoor Touch can be updated with microSD card (highly recommended) or web interface. The firmware package always includes the latest OS version, the 2N launcher (home screen) and 2N IP Mobile application. The web interface is available since FW version 2.0.3. It can be used for FW update of the device besides other features. Main difference between these two options is the type of the update. In case of SD card you can choose between full or partial update. Full update will reflash everything and device configuration will be lost. However if you perform factory reset of the device, then the device will remain on the same FW version. If you choose partial update, then user configuration will be preserved. Nevertheless, the device will go back to the last FW version which has been uploaded by full update once factory reset is performed. The web interface update allows for partial update only.  How to update 2N Indoor Touch via SD card   Warning   The complete FW/SW update of 2N Indoor Touch resets the unit to factory defaults including all user data and previously installed applications!        Please follow the update steps below:  Download the latest 2N Indoor Touch firmware version here.  Get a MicroSD card (SDHC) with maximum capacity of 16GB and formatted to the FAT32 file system.  Save the *.ZIP file and unpack its contents to the root directory of the MicroSD card. SD card has to contain these files - MLO, service_system.img, u-boot.img, uImage, upgrade.img  Insert the SD card into the MicroSD card slot on the right side of 2N Indoor Touch.Note: Make sure the contacts (pins) on the microSD card point towards the display of your 2N Indoor Touch unit.  Reset the device as follows:  Press the Reset button on the back shortlyOR  Click the Reboot button in the Settings>Advanced menu:    Having detected the correct firmware files, 2N Indoor Touch invites you to confirm the update via touch screen.The update process is also indicated by an RGB LED on the device front.Note: Don't turn off the device until the update process is finished. The update procedure takes approx. 10-15 minutes.  Remove the MicroSD card after the update procedure has finished and tap the display to restart the system.    How to update 2N Indoor Touch via web interface It is preferred to use the SD card for the update to ensure the clean installation of the firmware and prevent further issues.       Please follow the update steps below:  Download the latest 2N Indoor Touch firmware version from https://www.2n.cz/en_GB/support/documents/firmware.  Open the web interface of 2N Indoor Touch and log in (default credentials are Admin/2n).  Go to the section "Device>System Administration and click on "UPGRADE FIRMWARE".   Unpack the downloaded file to your PC. Click on "SELECT" and navigate to the folder containing the contents of the *.ZIP file. Then select the file named "update.img"   Once the file is successfully uploaded and state changes to "OK, upgrade possible", then you can click on "upgrade" and the update will be performed.   Wait approx. 10-15 minutes. The update is finished once the device boots back up.     How to do factory reset of 2N Indoor Touch? Follow the steps below to reset the 2N Indoor Touch factory values:  Press the Factory Reset button in the Settings>Advanced menu:  OR  Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the device:  Remove the device from the installation holder.  Press and hold the Reset button until the RGB notification LED lights up (yellow).  Release the Reset button and follow the instructions displayed. Can I install 3rd party Android applications to the 2N Indoor Touch? Yes, 3rd party applications can be installed to 2N Indoor Touch, however there are some restrictions and requirements to be met.Please note that 2N Telecommunications is not responsible for any incompatibility with 3rd party applications. Therefore, an option to upload and install 3rd party applications is currently disabled by default.   How to get my application to the 2N Indoor Touch? There are two ways available:  Option 1 - using the .apk installation file via MicroSD card (an additional license key needed)  Option 2 - by integrating the application directly into the custom/regular firmware distribution of 2N Indoor Touch by 2N R&D    3rd party applications license   The order number of the 3rd party app license is 91378390 - 2N Indoor Touch – unlock licence.The license key is related to the specific serial number of the 2N Indoor Touch unit, therefore you need to have it ready for the license purchase.         Option 1: Unlocking of a single unit  You need an additional license key for your unit (see above).  Once the licence key is obtained, it has to be entered into the unit in the Settings menu:  After clicking on the Settings button the system asks for a password, the default password is 2n.    The licence key has to be entered in the menu System info - Licence:  scroll down and click on the Add licence button:   Then you need to go to section Settings - Software and click on the Allow installation of apps:   The unit accepts then ANY application installed using an .apk file via the MicroSD card. You can easily install it through the File manager:    Choose the appropriate .apk file in the file browser, click on it and choose Install.       Once your application is installed, you can add its quick launch icon on the home screen (launcher) in the Settings - Home screen menu.     Note    All uploaded 3rd party applications will be erased after the factory reset and firmware upgrade.  2N Telecommunications does not guarantee any functionality of 3rd party applications.  When functionality of 2N Indoor Touch or 2N IP Mobile is questioned, 2N TechSupport will always request a factory reset to prove whether the issue is caused by 3rd party applications or not.          Option 2: Integration into the firmware  This options is focused on approx. 100+ pieces of 2N Indoor Touch, where the unlocking of units one by one would not be practical for the end user. Please note the custom firmware might be a paid service, including optional further upgrades. How to order:  Get a sample of the regular 2N Indoor Touch for testing purposes.  Received 2N Indoor Touch unit has to be unlocked as described in Option 1.  After a successful test of your application on 2N Indoor Touch send the .apk file to 2N Telecommunications for re-testing and integration please.

Any other relevant information such as screenshots,  LAN topology, NATs, IP addresses, video which shows the issue etc.  are also highly appreciated. 2) The current FW version of your 2N Indoor Touch (as available in the About section reachable from the home screen or in the Settings - System info menu).    3) The serial number of your unit (as available in the Settings - System info menu).    4) Version of the 2N IP Mobile application (as available in the Settings menu of the application).    5) A backup of the LOG file. Go to Settings - Advanced menu and enable the Debug mode. Try to initiate the issue (eg. run the desired application you are having an issue with) to record it in the LOG. Get a MicroSD card, insert it to the 2N® Indoor Touch, copy the LOG file to the memory card and transfer it to your computer.  The log files can be also downloaded from the web interface with the device   fw version 3.4.0.1.0.          6) Actual configuration of the device which can be downloaded via the web interface or in the unit and copy the configuration to the SD card.            7) Network  (Wireshark)  trace If the 2N Indoor Touch communicates with some other party, such as for ex. 2N IP Intercom, a network trace is also very helpful. You can capture it on the side of the 2N intercom (see more details here) or alternatively also using a PC with the Wireshark utility running in the same physical LAN. Network trace can be also downloaded from the web interface with the device   fw version 3.4.0.1.0. How to switch between the internal and external camera from 2N Indoor Touch

Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.   This FAQ describes how to switch between the internal and external camera of 2N IP Intercoms. This feature is not supported by default in this version of the application, however, there is a workaround that allows you to do so. Below you will find step by step description of 2N IP Intercom configuration and connection with some illustrative images. The workaround uses one of the switches in the 2N IP Mobile application. Please keep in mind that it is necessary to have an Enhanced integration or Gold license for this workaround as you have to create an automation function! Up to version 2.34 (inclusive) you need the license/feature or Gold (if it includes it), and from version 2.35 onwards they are part of the Gold license.      How to configure 2N IP Intercom  First of all, you have to configure the switch, you chose for the control of the cameras. We chose Switch 4. Parameter "Switch mode" has to be set to "Bistable". This ensures the switching between cameras. You can set "Controlled Output" to "None" if you want to use the switch icon only for the camera switching. This ensures that once you tap on the switch icon in the app, only the cameras will be switched and no physical output will be triggered. Then you have to set "Switch-On Command" (https://127.0.0.1/api/automation/trigger?triggerId=external   )   and "Switch-Off Command" (https://127.0.0.1/api/automation/trigger?triggerId=internal). These commands are sent when you tap the switch icon in the app. The intercom sends an HTTP command to itself to control the cameras, once it is received the intercom switches the camera according to the automation below.           2. Now you have to create an automation function that will control the cameras switching. Camera switching is based on HTTP commands as mentioned above. The function also ensures, that once the call is terminated, the camera is always switched back to the internal one.   How to switch the cameras from 2N Indoor Touch?  Now you have to tap and hold the padlock icon in the application until the 4 locks representing 4 switches in the 2N IP Intercom appears. After that, you can easily switch between the cameras by tapping on a particular switch you've used in the first step of the 2N IP Intercom configuration.      The camera could be switched only during an active call!

This FAQ describes how to connect external LED diode, alarm light to the 2N Indoor Touch and how to configure 2N IP Mobile (Intercoms) application. With relay it is possible to connect external ringing notification that is powered from the 2N Indoor Touch. Function external ringing notification ON/OFF activates external notification thanks to relay 1, 2. Activate relays is possible either by bell button or incoming call. Make sure that the electric opener/lock is always connected to the intercom's 12V output using a security relay to make the installation safe. The motherboard relay is used for switching lights or other peripherals that do not have to be secured. It is always recommended that the 2N Security Relay (Part No. 9159010) is used for increased security.    Requirement    2N Indoor Touch  2N IP Mobile (Intercoms)  Accessories for Relay  2-wires cables           How to connect bell button to the 2N Indoor Touch 2N Indoor Touch contains, on the rear side, ports to connect 3rd party devices to the relay and control them from application. How to use Group Authentication / Access key in communication between 2N IP Intercoms and 2N Indoor Touch

Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.   The 2N IP Mobile application in 2N Indoor Touch can communicate with all 2N IP Intercoms in the local network (and vice versa) by default. In order to increase basic security of the installation for certain scenarios we have implemented an optional access authentication for the 2N IP Mobile application in 2N IP Intercoms by an adjustable Access Key. Thanks to the Access key settings, only selected mobile applications with the key set in the Group Authentication field of the application can detect the intercom connected in the same network.   2N IP intercom FW & license   It is strongly recommended to use the latest FW version on 2N IP Intercoms - available here or via the automatic update feature. The Group Authentication/Access key feature does not require any additional license for the 2N IP Intercom.        Navigate to the section "Calling -> Local Calls -> Configuration" and fill in the "Access Key" field in Connection to answering units to enable authentication for the 2N IP Mobile application as shown in the picture below. You can add up to 3 Access Keys.   How to set 2N Indoor Touch? Once the 2N Indoor Touch is connected to the local network and powered (over PoE or using an external 12V DC/2A power supply) it will boot up and you see its initial screen (launcher). By clicking on the 2N IP Mobile application icon in the right upper corner you can open it and access its settings.  To be able to detect and add a key protected 2N IP Intercom in the local network, you need to set the equal Access Key in the application first. Go to the section "Settings - 2N Helios IP Group Authentication" and set the same key as set on the intercom side, see the pictures below.   The application automatically scans your LAN network and searches for all connected 2N IP Intercoms with the equal Access Key/Group Authentication identification.You can easily add them in the "Devices" section by clicking on the "+" button.   By clicking on the specific row in the LAN devices list you can add selected intercoms only or by clicking on the checkbox in the right upper corner you can add all of them at once.   By clicking on the confirmation button  you have just added the desired local devices to the list and the application is ready to call.

By default, the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 is using multicast communication to be able to set up the connection towards the 2N IP intercoms. The multicast communication allows the device to reach any other device within the LAN network because L2 devices (switch) send the packet with the multicast destination IP address to all the interfaces. Feature can be found in the 2N Intercoms application in the section Settings->Video.     Figure 1         Multicast discovery enabled   By default the multicast discovery is enabled on the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0. Info packet is sent towards the specific multicast address and reach all 2N IP intercoms within the LAN network. Info packets are used for pairing procedure between 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 unit and intercoms. Intercoms are sending multicast messages as well. These messages are being sent periodically and contains various types of information used for the proper function of the devices.    Figure 2 To be able to fully benefit from this feature it is recommended to enable IGMP snooping on all switches within the LAN. The reason is that the switch is controlling the IGMP messages which are exchanged between the user's device and the router. IGMP messages are used for the establishment of the multicast membership between the router and the source device. The switch is controlling these messages because the multicast is sent towards all the interfaces and if there is a video stream send which will be using significant amount of the bandwidth, the switch would flooded all the interfaces with this traffic, which could cause the reduction of the overall performance of the network. With the IGMP snooping the switch is sending the multicast traffic only towards interfaces from which the IGMP group membership report message has been sent.     Multicast discovery disabled In this mode, 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 sends info packets in unicast always to the IP address of the 2N IP intercom observed and periodically to all the 2N IP intercoms in the LAN device list. In the unicast mode, info packets are only sent to the 2N IP intercoms; no other 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 devices in the LAN are sent any info packets. This mode is beneficial in case that your switch does not support multicast or switching the multicast in wrong way. Examples:  Switch does not support IGMP snooping - as a result the network can be flooded by the multicast packets which contains video preview from the intercom and cause the significant reduction of the bandwidth.  2N Indoor Touch is connected to the wifi - wifi router can block the multicast traffic becuase the TTL filed is equals to 1 which means that the packet cannot be sent further into the network and also some wifi devices has troubles to handle the multicast.      Figure 3

Hosts joins to multicast group by sending IGMP messages to their local router. Router listen IGMP messages and periodically sends queries to discover which groups are active or inactive. IGMP snooping is a mechanism that is implemented on L3 aware and on some L2 switches. Switch "snoop" some L3 information such as IGMP join/leave messages in the IGMP packets send between the host and router. The switch is controlling IGMP messages because the multicast is sent towards all the interfaces by default and if there is a video stream send, which will be using significant amount of the bandwidth, the switch would flooded all the interfaces with this traffic, which could cause the reduction of the overall performance of the network. With the IGMP snooping enabled the switch is sending the multicast traffic only towards interfaces, from which the IGMP group membership report message has been sent.  If switch receive the IGMP host report from host to join a specific multicast group – it adds the switch physical port number where the host is connected to multicast table.  If switch receive the IGMP leave message from the host – its removes the table entry of the host.    However IGMP control messages are send as packets (L3 layer), so it is not possible to distinguish those messages from the rest of multicast traffic on switch. L2 switch can only identify that the frame is the multicast based on the MAC address. In case of multicast frame, The multicast IP address is mapped to the destination MAC address. First half (24 bits) of the MAC address is always the same (01:00:5E:XX:XX:XX) and the rest is based on the last 23 bits of the multicast IP address. This means that the switch needs to check each multicast frame if it contains IGMP control message or not. This means that the low-end switches might have an issue with the speed in case of high rates due to a slow CPU. High end switches has Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) that can perform IGMP check in hardware.     Multicast network setting and 2N Indoor Touch As described in this article, there are many types of the switches so there is no universal rule how to configure your network equipment. As already mentioned, in general L2 switches should send multicast traffic to all ports. Some L3 switches has IGMP snooping enabled by default some not. If the IGMP snooping is disabled, the switch should send a multicast traffic to all ports.    Note   The IGMP snooping should be enabled to allow the switch send the multicast traffic to all ports. However some switches are not checking IGMP messages and just adding physical ports to its Multicast table based on the multicast traffic. Because it is possible to get a multicast address from the destination MAC address, the switch will create a multicast table with specific multicast groups or simply the IGMP snooping is not implemented correctly. This feature is also called IGMP snooping on some switches. In such cases the IGMP snooping needs to be enabled.     Consequences of incorrect multicast settings:  Video preview does not work  It is not possible to open doors from the unit  You are not able to see other 2N devices in the device list     How to resolve it:  Enable IGMP snooping on the switch if disabled  Disable IGMP snooping on the switch if enabled  Try to manually create IGMP snooping groups  There will be two IGMP snooping groups ( 235.255.255.241:8004 and 235.255.255.240:8002)  Add all interfaces where 2 devices are connected to a newly created IGMP snooping groups   There is also an option to change the IGMP version in some switches - as mentioned above we do not use IGMP protocol so the switch should forward traffic to all ports however you can try to use IGMPv1 or IGMPv2 in case that the above mentioned points wont resolve the issue

In case it is needed to use a 2N Indoor Touch 1.0 or 2.0 for opening the lock without picking up the call or just hang up immediately after opening it is possible to set up this feature with Automation.  Requirements    2N Indoor Touch 1.0 or 2.0 with firmware version 3.5.2 / 4.3.2 or higher  Enhanced integration license (Part No. 9137907) or Gold license (Part No. 9137909)  Suitable 2N IP Intercom with firmware version 2.31 or higher    Navigate to menu Services > Automation and select one of the functions. Then create this Automation and select the correct Output that you will be controlling from the 2N Indoor Touch 1.0 or 2.0:  Make sure that the electric opener/lock is always connected to the intercom's 12V output using a security relay to make the installation safe. The motherboard relay is used for switching lights or other peripherals that do not have to be secured. Port Randomization in 2N IP Mobile (Intercoms)

Ports randomisation is a feature that allows you to use random port for the SIP signalization. This can be handy in various situations however there are two main reasons of this feature:  1) Possibility to use custom port while receiving calls from some device which is using custom ports as well.  2) Protection against ghost calls or SPIT  (spam over Internet telephony).     Possibility to use the custom port: By default SIP ports randomisation is switched off which means that the port used for the SIP communication is by default 5060. However in some situations you need to use different port number (5063 for example) to be able to receive calls from some proxy server or device. Once you enable the ports randomisation, the port is randomised or you can specify the port which should be used.   You can switch on the port randomization in the 2N IP Mobile application in the section settings -> SIP port randomization      Figure 1     Figure 2 This port is the source port of the device which means that if there is an incoming call with destination port 5063 for example, the 2N Indoor Touch will be able to process the call in case the port will be configured to 5063.    Note  Please note that port for the SIP Proxy connection (settings->SIP proxy->port) is the destination port for the registration.        Protection against SPIT Nowadays there are various types of spam messages all over the internet and VoIP telephony is not protected against these messages as well. The internet is full of  automatically dialed telephone calls, typically using VoIP technology and SIP protocol. As many services are using default port for the SIP communication it might happen that once the port randomization is switched off and the 2N Indoor Touch is connected into the LAN with internet access, you will receive the spam call from the internet. These calls are generated randomly by bots and port 5060 for these ghost calls are usually used. The protection against SPIT can be done also on the edge network device such as router. The 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 unit is designed for an audio and video communication with the 2N IP Intercom. You can see all intercoms connected to the LAN, you are able to accept incoming audio/video calls, make outgoing calls to 2N IP Intercom and also control locks connected to the intercom.  2N IP intercom FW & license   It is strong recommended to use the latest FW version for 2N IP Intercom as available here. The 2N IP Mobile application ver.4 does not need Enhanced integration or Gold license for the 2N IP Intercom for door opening anymore.    How to configure 2N IP Intercom?   As a very first step go to the section  "Directory – Users", create a new user and set the "Phone Number" to be dialled once you press an appropriate button of the intercom. If you want to call to the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 unit, the number has to be filled in a format: "device:name". In our example the device name “IDT” is being used, see please the picture below.   In the next step you can set the intercom to automatically pick up the incoming calls in order to easily reach it at any time. Go to the section  "Calling - General Settings" and enable Automatic Pickup for incoming calls for both SIP1 and SIP2, see the picture below.  As a next step go to the section "Calling - SIP 1 - Configuration" and fill in the "Domain" field. For direct calls from the 2N IP Intercom to 2N IP Mobile (intercoms) application it is recommended to fill in the IP address of intercom as shown in the picture below (IP address of the intercom in this example is 192.168.50.10).  Last step is to assign newly created contact to quick dial button.    How to set 2N Indoor Touch 2.0? Once the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 is connected to the local network and powered (over PoE or using an external 12V DC/2A power supply) it will boot up and you see its initial screen (launcher). By clicking on the Intercoms application icon in the right upper corner you can open it and access its settings.    To be able to receive calls on the 2N IP Mobile (Intercoms) you need to set the device name first. The device name is used by the intercom for the call routing instead of the IP address. Go to the section "Settings - Device name" and set the desired name, in our example we use "IDT", see the pictures below.       List of connected devices on 2N Helios IP   A list of registered Device names can be easily viewed on the 2N IP Intercom in the menu Calling - Configuration, see the example below.       The application automatically scans your LAN network and looks for all connected 2N IP Intercoms. You can easily add them in the "Devices" section by clicking on the "+" button.  In the LAN devices list you can see all 2N IP Intercoms available. By clicking on the specific row you can add selected intercoms only, or by clicking on the checkbox in the right upper corner you can add all of them at once.      Display name change   By clicking on the pencil button you can also optionally change the display name for each 2N IP Intercom.    By clicking on the confirmation button you have just added the desired local devices to the list and the application is ready to call.  By selecting the desired 2N IP Intercom in the list of Devices you can watch the video stream, place a call, open the door lock, listen to the audio stream preview and also make an instant screenshot.     Door Lock details   The door lock can be triggered by the lock button at any time - during the preview or during an active call as well. If you would like to trigger some other lock than the default Lock 1, simply hold your finger on the lock icon for a while and all 4 locks will appear.    There is also no need to set any lock code, the communication with the 2N IP Intercom works on a proprietary HTTP command basis.      Network requirements   In order to perform correctly, all components are required to be interconnected over appropriate Ethernet/Wi-Fi network parts as described in this FAQ: What LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure do I need? Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.   2N Indoor Touch 2.0 has the DHCP client enabled in default, so it expects to get an IP address from a local DHCP server dynamically. If you would like to assign some static IP address manually, please follow the steps below:  Web Interface  Access devices's web interface, the default ceredtials are Username: admin and Password: 2n.  Navigate to the section Device -> Network.  In order to activate static IP settings, you have to set DHCP to OFF state.   Once the DHCP is turned off, a chart will appear. In there, you can fill in all the necessary values such as IP address, Mask, Gateway and DNS, then click Use.    On the device On the home screen click on the Settings icon and log in, the default password is 2n.    Tap on Networks to edit the network settings.  In order to activate static IP settings, you have to set DHCP to OFF state.  Enter the IP address, network mask, IP Gateway, IP DNS and tap on Apply settings

The 2N IP Mobile application in 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 can communicate with all 2N IP Intercoms present in the local network (and vice versa) by default. In order to increase basic security of the installation for certain scenarios we have implemented an optional access authentication of the 2N IP Mobile application in 2N IP Intercoms by an adjustable Access key. Thanks to the Access key settings, only selected mobile applications with the key set in the Group Authentication field of the application can detect the intercom connected in the same network.  2N IP Intercom FW & license   It is strongly recommended to use the latest FW version on 2N IP Intercoms - available here or via the automatic update feature. The Group Authentication/Access key feature does not require any additional license for the 2N IP Intercom.    How to configure 2N IP Intercom? Navigate to the section "Calling-> Local Calls -> Configuration" and fill in the "Access Key" to enable authentication for the 2N IP Mobile application as shown in the picture below. You can add up to 3 Access Keys.    How to set up 2N Indoor Touch 2.0? Once the 2N Indoor Touch 2.0 is connected to the local network and powered (over PoE or using an external 12V DC/2A power supply) it will boot up and you see its initial screen (launcher). By clicking on the Intercoms application icon in the right upper corner you can open it and access its settings.  To be able to detect and add a key protected 2N IP Intercom in the local network, you need to set the equal Access Key in the application first. The 2N IP Mobile application version 3 for 2N Indoor Touch supports multicast communication exclusively. Therefore there is no limitation of the end-points quantity, however the local network has to support multicasting.  The version 4 of the 2N IP Mobile application for both (mobile devices & 2N Indoor Touch) has an option to switch between the multicast and unicast communication to adjust the stream. If your network infrastructure does not support multicasting, you can use unicast in case of a small setup (up to 3 devices in the network) or WiFi connectivity. Otherwise it is highly recommended to use the multicast communication for wired connectivity. Therefore it is highly recommended to use a smart managed switch with the IGMP Snooping support for the local communication to avoid overloading of the switch throughput. Dynamic IP addressing   It is highly recommended to use dynamic IP addresses assignment from a DHCP server running in the local network, because it takes all of the manual work out of IP addressing and you don't have to configure each device one by one. When DHCP is enabled, any new 2N IP intercom or 2N Indoor Touch connected to the network asks the server for an address and all the IP settings gets configured automatically. The server itself tracks which addresses are used and which addresses are available, and keeps a record of which addresses have been assigned to the various devices. If you choose multicast and the device is connected via Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) wireless network, there is a security mechanism of the Wi-Fi standard itself to ensure the multicast data transfer due to a lack of the IGMP protocol for wireless. The mechanism works the way that the Wi-Fi access point decreases the data transfer rate to the minimum level (~7Mbit/s) and floods it to all connected devices, to make sure the information is received by everyone. Once the transfer rate is decreased to such a low-profile mode, it becomes a bandwidth bottleneck for multiple video streams to be received. It can cause issues with the packet loss and video blackouts. Luckily, there is a simple solution for this issue - if the Wi-Fi access point supports the multicast helper feature (alternative names eg.: Wi-Fi multicast, Multicast Routing across Wi-Fi etc.), it can easily translate the multicast stream to a unicast stream and increase the transfer rate straight away. Therefore we have created a list of tested Wi-Fi access points recommended for the wireless installation. Wi-Fi interference   If your Wi-Fi signal seems to be strong, but the communication suddenly drops for periods of time (eg. audio or video blackouts), that may be a symptom of signal interference. It happens when another wireless signal passes through your home that is on a similar bandwidth to your Wi-Fi network, overpowering or corrupting the communication. There are a lot of potential sources of the interference, featuring:  Neighbors Wi-Fi Networks - the most common source, powerful Wi-Fi networks in a close proximity can detract from each other's performance  Microwave - if the access point is located near a microwave, massive network interference will often be experienced while the oven is up. Many microwaves operate on the 2,4 GHz spectrum, which is the same spectrum as many wireless routers.  Other Wireless Devices - cordless phones, wireless speakers, baby monitors, remote controllers etc.  Make please sure your wireless network is sufficiently designed and all potential sources of strong interference are eliminated. What to do if a 3rd party app is displayed in portrait mode on 2N Indoor Touch?

When you use 3rd party apps on 2N Indoor Touch, some of them may display their interface in portrait mode, even if they need for proper function to be displayed in landscape mode. You can easily setup 2N Indoor Touch to force apps to use Landscape mode.  How to force application to use landscape mode?  Open settings on 2N Indoor Touch. You will be asked to enter a password, default is "2n".   Navigate to Software section   Enable Force applications to landscape orientation   Now all 3rd party apps will successfully run in the landscape mode.

This FAQ describes how to use 2N Indoor Touch HTTP API on a device and how to configure it. 2N Indoor Touch HTTP API is an application interface designed for control of selected 2N Indoor Touch functions with the HTTP commands. Authentication requires login and password data to be transmitted in the first connection.       The HTTP API license is needed to enable this feature support. You can use your application or any web browser.  For a demonstration we will use an application Postman. User needs to authenticate wit login command. For login you need to use PUT method.
