  1. General Description

    MiVoice Office 400 is a SIP-based IP communication platform designed for small and mid-sized enterprises, providing call control, extension management and unified communications services. It supports IP endpoints, softphones and SIP devices within a centrally managed telephony environment.

    When integrated with 2N IP Intercoms, the intercom is configured as a SIP endpoint registered to the MiVoice Office 400 system. Calls initiated from the intercom are routed to configured extensions, ring groups or reception endpoints. After the call is answered, bidirectional audio communication is established, with video available on compatible SIP clients. During the active call, door opening can be triggered using DTMF signaling supported by the 2N intercom. Standard MiVoice Office 400 call handlingcan be applied to intercom calls.
  2. Integration with Mitel MiVoice 5000

    MiVoice 5000 is an enterprise-grade IP communication server designed for medium to large organizations, supporting advanced call routing, multi-site deployments and high-capacity telephony environments. It provides SIP-based communication services for desk phones, softphones and third-party devices.

    When integrated with 2N IP Intercoms, the intercom operates as a SIP device within the MiVoice 5000 environment. Intercom calls are processed by the platform and routed according to defined enterprise call policies, such as operator consoles, reception groups or departmental extensions. Once answered, bidirectional audio communication is established, with video supported on compatible endpoints. Door unlocking can be executed during the call using DTMF commands supported by the 2N intercom. Enterprise call features can be applied to door calls, enabling professional reception workflows.
  3. Integration with MiVoice Business

    MiVoice Business is Mitel’s enterprise communication platform designed for medium and large organizations, supporting SIP telephony, unified communications, advanced call routing, and multi-site deployments. The platform provides centralized call control for IP phones, softphones, operator consoles, and third-party SIP devices.

    When integrated with 2N IP Intercoms, the intercom operates as a standard SIP endpoint registered to the MiVoice Business system. Calls initiated from the intercom can be routed to internal extensions, operator groups, hunt groups, or external destinations according to configured call policies. Once answered, bidirectional audio communication is established, with video available on compatible SIP clients and endpoints.

    Door unlocking can be triggered during active calls using DTMF signaling supported by the 2N intercom. Standard Mitel call handling features such as forwarding, groups, overflow routing, and receptionist workflows can also be applied to intercom communication.
