Door lock does not open after dialing 00

The steps in this article require using the web interface of a 2N device. Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.

Prerequisites

  • 2N IP Intercom with the latest firmware,
    no additional license is required.

Firmware 2.50 and older (LTS)

Why code 00 does not work for opening door

  • This code can be entered only from your phone (IP phone, softphone, etc.).
    For usage on the keypad please create a new code.

2N IP Intercom - Hardware - Switches - Switch 1 - Switch Codes

 

  • The code for opening the door has to be confirmed with * (00*).
    Resp. if you enable "Legacy switch code", then the confirmation is not necessary.

2N IP Intercom - Hardware - Switches - Advanced - Legacy Switch Code

 

  • Check that all 3 types of DTMF receiving modes are enabled.

Firmware 3.0 and newer

Why code 00 does not work for opening door

  • This code can be entered only from your phone (IP phone, softphone, etc.).
    For usage on the keypad please create a new code edit the existing one. Go to Integration, then click the three dots on an exsiting code to edit or click the edit icon to add a new code. 

 

 

  • The code for opening the door has to be confirmed with * (00*).
    Resp. if you enable "Legacy switch code", then the confirmation is not necessary.

 

  • Check that all 3 types of DTMF receiving modes are enabled.
