From November 1st 2025, you have the possibility to activate switches from the App without being in a call.

Therefore, that offers you the possibility to activate Access Units switches as well.

Previously, you were just able to add Access Units in Access Groups and assign thoses devices to Access Rules.

Users with appropriate credentials (PIN, BT, RFID fobs) were able to activate switches.

From now you can do it directly from the App, using API Opening. However, the user needs to have access to this Access Unit, thanks to Access Rules or thanks to Apartment. As the user needs to be able to access the device under the calling section, the site requires an active Mobile Video subscription for his mobile or his apartment.

For Intercoms you just need to activate the switch (1) as previously, from the App, without generating automatically a call:

But, now, thanks to API Opening,you can do it from an Access Unit as well. All Access Units 2.0 with active switches can be activated.
